Israeli Attacks in Gaza Claim 24,100 Lives Since October 7th, Says Palestinian Health Ministry

In a tragic turn of events, the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has surged to 24,100 since October 7th, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The information was disclosed on Monday by the ministry amid relentless assaults by the Israeli military.

In an official statement, the ministry revealed that within the past 24 hours, the Israeli incursion has resulted in the death of 132 individuals and left 252 others injured in the Gaza Strip. This escalation has pushed the total Palestinian death toll to 24,100 since October 7th, with an additional 60,834 individuals reported as wounded during this period.

According to the United Nations, 85% of Gaza's population is already grappling with severe internal crises, including acute shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies. Additionally, 60% of the territory has suffered damage or destruction due to the conflict.

On Sunday, UN Secretary-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasized the dire situation, stating, "The inhabitants of Gaza are living in hell, and no place is safe."

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to continue the military offensive against Hamas until victory is achieved, following his failure to secure a ceasefire. The region remains engulfed in a devastating cycle of violence, leaving countless innocent lives shattered and communities in ruins.
