Two super overs for 212 runs, then a thrilling win for India
The third and final match in Bangalore turned out to be an intense battle, with nothing short of excitement! It all started with India's batting disaster, as Rohit Sharma's record-breaking 121 and Rinku Singh's brilliant 69 took India to a competitive total of 212 in their allotted overs. In reply, Afghanistan, led by Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib, matched India's total, sending the match into a super over.
Afghanistan batted first and scored 16 runs in the super over. In reply, India also managed to score 16 runs. However, India struggled to capitalize on the opportunity in the next Super Over. A superb bowling performance by Farid Ahmed, taking two wickets for 5 runs from just 5 balls restricted India to just 11 runs. Afghanistan, in their turn, finished the second super over by 16 runs, securing victory and claiming the series 3–0.
Despite India's efforts, the real winner was cricket, with thousands of spectators at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and millions on TV witnessing a thrilling contest that will be remembered for a long time.

India faced difficulties in the second super over, losing two wickets and scoring just 11 runs off five balls. Farid Ahmed's superb bowling and efficient Afghan fielding limited India's potential runs. With this, Afghanistan won the second super over and secured the series win.
Before Afghanistan's innings, Bengaluru witnessed a brilliant display of cricket on Wednesday night. Despite losing several wickets, the resilient batting of Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib kept Afghanistan in the game. They needed 19 runs in the last over to win. Gulbadin Naib, unbeaten on 55 off just 23 balls with four boundaries and four sixes, steered Afghanistan to victory with an over to spare. Before that, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran added 93 runs in 10.5 overs in the opening pair. Gurbaz scored a quick 50 off 32 balls and Ibrahim Zadran scored 41 off 41 balls.
Mohammad Nabi showed a great innings of 34 runs off 16 balls before getting out. But towards the end, Gulbadin Naib's explosive batting turned the match in favor of Afghanistan. In the last two overs, India's Washington Sundar took three wickets with 18 runs in four overs, while Avesh Khan took one wicket with 31 runs in three overs.
Despite a brilliant innings from Afghanistan, the match will be remembered for Rohit Sharma's magnificent century and Rinku Singh's valiant effort, making for a thrilling encounter between the two teams.
